St. Bernard Project (SBP) has decided to commemorate the 5th anniversary with special events that will reinvigorate its efforts and renew its commitment to its mission as well as the people of New Orleans. SBP will be focusing its efforts in the Lower 9th Ward by completing 5 homes in 5 days, but will also draw attention to St. Bernard Parish by running 24-hour builds on three local homes. SBP invites, encourages, and urges all supporters of the project and the rebuilding of New Orleans to join us for these events.

Perhaps it is the eco-traveler inside us who sees pedicabs as a wonderfully funky, green alternative to getting around town during festival seasons. Needless to say, when Dana Eness with Stay Local/Urban Conservancy shared this request, we latched on to her idea of groovy progressiveness, and would like to invite all of you to help PJ's Bike Taxi efforts on July 22 @ 2 pm in City Council chambers.
