Local Spotlight: Building it Green
Have you ever wondered what type of insulation is best for your home? LGNO has featured our favorite local home insulation company, ENVIROGREEN in a previous post from September (HERE). On Tuesday, November 17th, Global Green’s Build it Back Green program will host a Home Insulation Panel Discussion to help homeowners and other interested parties learn more.
Choosing the correct type of insulation for our hot, humid climate can be a daunting task, but we have invited several vendors to discuss their product in a format that will allow everyone to learn more about the qualities of these products. Whether it be cellulose, fiberglass batts, rigid foam board, or spray foam, this will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about how to reduce your electricity bills through properly insulating your home. ~ Global Green
The Home Insulation Panel Discussion will take place at Global Green’s Green Building Resource Center, 841 Carondelet Street, on Tuesday evening, November 17th from 6:00-8:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public and refreshments will be provided.
