Going to a Garden Party
Gather your neighbors for a garden party ~ Wednesday 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, and 10/14 from 5p-9p at the Botanical Garden ~ and enjoy everything that is at the root of New Orleans. Beginning September 23rd, the Garden Party series launches with a special performance by members of Voice of the Wetlands All-Stars featuring Tab Benoit, Cyril Neville, Anders Osborne, Jumpin’ Johnny Sansone, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, and guests. This event is the first stop of the newly announced V.O.W. Express Tour.
GARDEN PARTY will feature great music, local flavors from local chefs, and refreshing drinks. Garden Party is not simply a music event but a community happening that fosters the culture and spirit of New Orleans. The undeniable beauty of the New Orleans Botanical Garden sets the scene for an evening of delight.
Don’t forget to bring lawn chairs and blankets. No outside food or drinks please and, sorry Jackson, but dogs are not allowed in the Botanical Garden. All events are Rain or Shine – In the case of rain the event will be held indoors in the Pavilion.
